Convenience Euthanasia – Comforting Definition Hides the Truth Episode 12

Euthanasia is derived from two Greek words that mean ‘Good Death’. Is there anything ‘Good’ in the purposeful ‘Death’ of an innocent cat? Convenience euthanasia occurs when owners ask for their pets to be euthanized for trivial reasons such as moving, carpeting, couch destruction, marriage, divorce, job loss, travel, landlords …

We must stop the madness and educate every single human until shelter killings end. Convenience euthanasia = MURDER! Let’s spread the word about TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return). Let’s offer those who surrender their pet some decent alternatives. Please share this episode on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more.

Tippy suddenly started to pee all over the place. She visited the litter box every few minutes, scratched around, strained, and left it dry. A vet visit diagnosed struvite crystals in her urine. REVELATION – what you feed your cats can damage their health. Pat learns and shares some astounding cat physiology facts that will change how you feed your cats furever! So put your cat glasses on and find out what your cat wishes you knew.

And no – the vet never mentioned diet, stress, or anything other than antibiotics. Most cases of cystitis are sterile.  In other words, they are not the result of an infection, and the patient should not be placed on antibiotics.

Know What You Feed

Food Fur Life

I use Corn Silk drops and D-Mannose powder at the first sign of straining and low urine. It works every time.

Cornsilk and D-Mannose are two of the most important items to keep in your kitty medicine chest.  (The cornsilk I use is Nature’s Way. I just add the cornsilk and d-mannose to food.)

CORNSILK – Normal Dose is 7drops, 2x/day

Starting dose in a crisis: 7drops, 4x/day until urine clumps get bigger, then

3x/day as urine clumps get closer to normal for your kitty, then

regular dose of 2x/day for at least 30days to heal urinary tract inflammation.

Giving by Syringe: in a tiny glass container put in .2cc water, then add the 7drops of Corn Silk & stir, draw back up in the syringe & give to kitty.

d-MANNOSE – Normal dose: 250mg/day OR 1/8tsp given once a day or split into 2doses/day. (Dosing is 250-500mg/day == approx. 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of the powder, respectively

ALSO can be given at higher dose if needed: 500-1,000 mg/day==approx.)

Can be used for urinary tract inflammation, mucous plugs & a couple UTI bacteria (E. Coli, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa)

Here is what I use – purchase at Amazon for quick delivery:

Cornsilk – use this one as it does NOT have alcohol
